as Runnerke said, the software before was a HEN (homebrew enabler) and it can't brick psp's.

BUT the new thing being released is a CFW (custom firmware). If you are not careful, the cfw CAN brick your psp (meaning psp won't turn on)

Anyway I've not managed to update my PSP to 6.20 yet ;-)

Yes that's right.
6.35 PRO HEN can't brick your psp and you can use TempAR on it (it's a mod of NitePR and CW Cheats) I use that Very Happy

That's what I did but when I go to it on my PSP, there is nothing. It says to me something like "no game available"

OK, I've found the way !
And I've downloaded the HEN !

But:
- I can start the patapon
- I can open the hacked save
- HBL starts
- I select HEN
- there are some messages that seem to be normal
- the screen gets off
- the PSP gets off
- And ... NOTHING. hmmmm

What can I do ? Sad

k, here are 2 options that you could do

1. are you sure you did EVERYTHING right (hbl in root, patapon 2 demo, etc.)
2. watch a tutorial, go on youtube and look for some tutorials, there're LOTS

I've already watched tutorials and I dunno where the problem is. And what do you mean "HBL in root" ? If I put the folder in it I'm straight away redirected to the XMB when I press R in the save.

6.20
The HBL says system 6.2X detected when I launch it anyway.

Do you think I ought to try with the 6.35 ? bounce

ISO are downloadables. You download them like gamesaves I think. A ISO can be a full game or even a movie. I feel this question is asked so much.

k, now that the 6.31/6.35 downgrader is out you have 2 options

1. go ahead and downgrade, but there's a risk of bricking your psp
2. If you already have the 6.35/6.31 HEN and you don't want to downgrade. You can wait for 6.31/6.35 PRO-A. That will be a full CFW
