Well, since our clan is a hacking clan, it would make sense for the clan's psp owners to have a hacked psp.
but this is completely optional

If you are planning to hack your psp plz reply to this thread and post the following information:

-Psp model (1000, 2000, 3000, GO)
-Psp Firmware

Once you have posted the following information me and any current psp hackers on the site will assist you in hacking your psp and which hacking program fits you best . It is an option to hack your psp so it is completely YOUR CHOICE.

or u kan get a kernal of 6.39 and the 6.39 me v-2 for o2,o3,04,05 all the way 2 o9 and for data code 8c but casue i bricked mine i have 5.50 gen d2,d3 it changes every year

-downgrade to 6.20 and use TN or PRO cfw
-use 6.39 PRO-B6/7 or 6.39 TN-A

Ok. I will use 6.39 PRO B-6. I have the CFW file already, but Idk what to do with it.

I dunno how the 6.39 PRO is made, but the first thing I can tell you is that if it contains a EBOOT.PBP file, you have to create a "UPDATE" folder in the "GAME" folder and put it in it.

Put the "PROUPDATE" file in your "GAME" folder. Then check your mem stick under game and you should see the cfw update there.

So i just put the CFW file in "GAME" and then it will show up as an update? No extracting, zipping, anything?

none , just put "PROUPDATE" in your "GAME" file. then check your psp and it should be there.

Ok. I am not sure if there is a "PROUPDATE" file... I will look again. And after I do that, I just run the update and then my PSP is hacked? Then I need to get NitePR... Ninja_spike posted it on Kiwi so I will go there and get it... But how do I install NitePR?

Yep, once you update it should say "6.39 PRO-B6" as your firmware

1. IT WON'T WORK! THERE ISN'T A "PROUPDATE" FILE!

no, i know why. It came in a .rar file. r3d you need to download a software to unzip the .rar file. Either winRAR or 7zip.

It's a rar file so it's unrar and not unzip
He said he had winRAR so this is not his problem.

gen isn't the best cfw, its ONE of the best cfw.

The 2 best are:
-GEN cfw
-m33 cfw

@Checkmate: The only file is "639pro-b8.rar".
@Agent: Pandoras and MMs are the risky way to go as they will generally brick your PSP if you do even a little bit wrong.
@Noble: How do I un-RAR the file? I think I have both winRAR and 7zip...

@r3d- to unrar your .rar file using winrar, just go to the the place where you have the file and just click it normally, then you should the the contents of the .rar file.

If you're using 7zip (I use 7zip), place the .rar file in your "C" Drive. Open Up 7zip and select "C" as the hard drive to choose. You should then see the .rar file there and just click it normally and the contents will be inside.

If you are still confused, then go to youtube or man's best friend (not the dog, google )

Ok, so it kinda worked. When I try to install nitePR, (turn the PSP off) the CFW goes away. The update is still there, but it isn't CFW it is back to OFW. HELP.

When you mean by "turn off" do you mean by flipping you on/off switch or removing the battery?

I mean powering it off.
I followed the steps to install nitePR, put in some codes, etc. but it still won't work!
